Senior Content Engineer
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum + Great Benefits
Our rapidly expanding client is dedicated to providing an innovative eLearning platform focused on cybersecurity education. From workshops to assessments, this startup platform covers penetration testing, network security, and ethical hacking through user-friendly prebuilt courses. We're currently seeking a motivated Senior Content Engineer to join our remote team.
  • Research, design, and develop defensive cybersecurity training materials, including hands-on lab exercises with virtual machines and datasets for analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Content Engineering Team to enhance security training coverage and identify content development opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to fellow Content Engineering Team members in specialized areas.
  • Lead planning and design efforts for segments of the content development roadmap.
  • Work with the Head of Content Engineering to refine and optimize the content development process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends in tools and techniques, translating them into teachable content.
  • Utilize research to offer expert insights to the content development team.
  • Strategically plan, review, and schedule content with the content engineering team.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant cybersecurity industry experience in roles such as Incident Responder, Digital Forensics Investigator, Security Engineer, Threat Hunter, or L3/L4 Security Analyst.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, Bash, or Powershell.
  • Experience in developing and delivering cybersecurity training materials.
  • Strong technical understanding of networking, computing, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges.
