Business Development Manager
$80-90K + Super, $110-130K OTE + Benefits
Our client is a fast-growing, global information solutions company experiencing phenomenal growth. With research solutions and industry reports available in multiple sectors, worldwide, they are well placed for further growth. Due to their continued AUS success, they are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Melbourne team.
Business Development Manager responsibilities:  
  • Identify target prospects and key decision-makers
  • Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email or other social mediums
  • Follow a high-performing and successful sales process
  • Respond to inbound leads in a timely manner
  • Identify pain points and demonstrate a value offering to potential clients
  • Deliver in-person and web-based product demos
  • Manage the full sales cycle
  • Become a product expert
Business Development Manager requirements:  
  • 1-2 years’ B2B full consultative sales cycle experience
  • Business-related degree (highly desirable)
  • Financial service sector exposure
  • Hungry and driven to succeed
  • Spin or Challenger Sales experience
  • Salesforce or similar (IT proficiency)
  • Comfortable and confident with outbound phone activity
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Team player
  • Economic knowledge (trends, objectives, and issues)
Business Development Manager rewards:  
  • 80-90k Base Salary
