Product Builder | Technical Product Manager / Product Engineer
Sydney CBD | Hybrid (2–3 days in office)
Salary: $170K–$200K base + super
Location: Sydney CBD
Work Arrangement: Sydney-based role (open to candidates willing to relocate)
About the Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Product Builder — someone who sits at the intersection of product, technology, design and customer experience.
This is not a traditional Product Manager role focused purely on roadmaps and requirements. We are looking for someone who can take ambiguous problems, shape solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and actively contribute to building products using modern tools, AI workflows, prototyping and technology.
You may be an engineer who has developed strong product instincts, a technical Product Manager, a product-minded designer who codes, or a founder/operator who has built products end-to-end.
This is a high-ownership role where you will help define how modern digital products are designed, built and delivered.
About the Role
As a Product Builder, you will own initiatives from initial discovery through to delivery and optimisation. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, Commercial and Customer teams to create digital experiences that solve meaningful customer and business problems.
You will combine product thinking, technical understanding and execution capability to move quickly from ideas to real outcomes.
What You'll Work On
You will contribute across:
What You'll Do
About You
You may come from one of the following backgrounds:
You will bring:
Highly Regarded Experience
What Success Looks Like
You turn customer and business problems into shipped improvements.
You can move comfortably between strategy, technical discussions and execution. Engineers trust you because you understand how products are built, while stakeholders trust you because you understand customers, commercial outcomes and business priorities.
You use modern tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to reduce friction, increase speed and deliver better products.
Why Join?
We're not looking for someone who simply manages a backlog. We're looking for someone who thinks like a Product Manager, builds like an Engineer, communicates like a business owner and advocates for customers.
If you're passionate about building products that people love to use, we'd love to hear from you.

Please APPLY for the role via LinkedIn or send your CV to c.thum@certusrecruitment.com or contact Charmaine Thum on 0439 320 538 for a confidential discussion.
