We are Certus Recruitment, a global niche recruiter delivering GTM and Technical solutions to the Tech sector, working with clients across SaaS, AI & Data, Cloud and Financial Services from our offices in the UK, USA and Australia.
We’re now looking to recruit a leader for our Melbourne business to lead, inspire and grow Certus Australia from our Melbourne CBD office.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of an established, high-potential business and drive it through its next phase of growth. In this role, you will:
- Lead the business with energy and intent — setting strategy, defining growth goals, and executing with precision.
- Play an active role recruiting, delivering an exceptional experience for Clients and Candidates
- Drive commercial performance through client acquisition, account development, and new market opportunities.
- Oversee operational excellence, ensuring quality, consistency, and profitability.
- Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing small team of recruiters — fostering collaboration, accountability, and ambition.
- Represent Certus across the Australian market, building trusted relationships with clients, candidates, and partners.
- Manage budgets, forecast performance, and make data-driven decisions to deliver sustainable growth.
- Proven track record within recruitment, ideally within GTM or Technical recruitment with experience of the Technology sector
- A deep understanding of the ‘process’ of recruitment and an ability to analyse a recruitment desk and to determine what needs doing and how to get it done.
- A demonstrable ‘need’ for success and an abhorrence of failure.
- A can do approach with a ‘now not later’ mindset and approach.
- A natural leader — confident, decisive, and motivational, with a genuine ability to inspire high performance.
- A genuine desire and appetite for self improvement
- Commercially sharp and data-driven, with the ability to identify trends, spot opportunity, and execute effectively.
