IT Operations Manager
  
We’re seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead IT service delivery, strengthen operational capability, and support national growth.
  
Reporting to the Head of IT, this role oversees infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor management, and the IT support team across multiple campuses. You’ll drive reliability, efficiency, and alignment with ITIL frameworks while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Manage IT operations, infrastructure, and service desk performance.
  • Implement ITIL-aligned processes (incident, change, and problem management).
  • Lead vendor relationships and SLA performance.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, Essential 8).
  • Develop IT documentation, audits, and reporting.
  
Key Requirements:
  
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing IT operations and service delivery teams.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ITIL/ITSM expertise and cloud infrastructure experience (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes and formal change management.
  • Microsoft and/or Cisco vendor certifications.
  • Experience with IT documentation tools (e.g., IT Glue).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, SQL, Python, GitHub, and Power BI.
  • Experience maintaining enterprise infrastructure and cybersecurity platforms.
  • Ability to work 2–3 days per week onsite in Brisbane (Head Office and campuses).
  • Background checks, valid driver’s licence, and right to work in Australia.
  
Desirable:
  
  • Experience in multi-campus environments.
  • Advanced qualifications or certifications (ITIL, ITSM, or security).
  • MSP management experience.
  • Proven ability to drive automation and process improvements.
