Our client is now hiring a Cloud Support Engineer with strong Azure and troubleshooting experience to support and scale their cloud-based video platform. You’ll be working across monitoring, automation, and incident resolution—keeping systems secure, performant, and rock solid under pressure.
Cloud Support Engineer responsibilities:
- Provide third-line support, resolving complex issues across infrastructure, databases, and applications
- Oversee Azure deployments—ensuring availability, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Write and optimise SQL queries to investigate and correct data issues
- Build automation tools in C# to streamline processes and support diagnostics
- Monitor cloud health (CPU, memory, storage) and create alerts/dashboards for performance insights
- Collaborate closely with Dev and Support teams to triage and resolve issues
- Contribute to internal tooling and knowledge sharing to improve support operations
- Proven experience in a third-line support or cloud ops role
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure resource management and monitoring
- Advanced SQL for data analysis and issue resolution
- Proficiency with C# for scripting, debugging and tool creation
- Good understanding of app troubleshooting across infrastructure and DB layers
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, App Insights, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting B2B cloud platforms
- Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Terraform)
- Exposure to other cloud environments (AWS, GCP, hybrid)
- ITIL-aligned incident and problem management processes
- A base salary circa 65-70k
