Our client is now hiring a Cloud Support Engineer with strong Azure and troubleshooting experience to support and scale their cloud-based video platform. You’ll be working across monitoring, automation, and incident resolution—keeping systems secure, performant, and rock solid under pressure.


Cloud Support Engineer responsibilities:  

  • Provide third-line support, resolving complex issues across infrastructure, databases, and applications
  • Oversee Azure deployments—ensuring availability, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Write and optimise SQL queries to investigate and correct data issues
  • Build automation tools in C# to streamline processes and support diagnostics
  • Monitor cloud health (CPU, memory, storage) and create alerts/dashboards for performance insights
  • Collaborate closely with Dev and Support teams to triage and resolve issues
  • Contribute to internal tooling and knowledge sharing to improve support operations
Cloud Support Engineer skills, traits, and experience:
  • Proven experience in a third-line support or cloud ops role
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure resource management and monitoring
  • Advanced SQL for data analysis and issue resolution
  • Proficiency with C# for scripting, debugging and tool creation
  • Good understanding of app troubleshooting across infrastructure and DB layers
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, App Insights, or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting B2B cloud platforms
  • Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Terraform)
  • Exposure to other cloud environments (AWS, GCP, hybrid)
  • ITIL-aligned incident and problem management processes
