£80–100k Base + 50% Commission

We’re partnered with a fast-growing HR Tech business on a mission to scale. With strong recurring revenue, inbound leads firing, and 60+ new customers every month, it’s time to level up the sales function—and we’re looking for a hands-on Sales Director to lead from the front.
This is a doer’s role. You’ll take full ownership of revenue across new business and renewals, guiding a 7-strong team across SME, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments. Everyone in the team sells everything—software, tech solutions, the lot. Now, it’s about bigger deals, multi-product adoption, and growing ACV from £2k to £5k+.
You’ll report to the MD and sit within the senior leadership team—but this is not a sit-back-and-strategise role. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, leads by example, and is ready to roll up their sleeves.

What you’ll be doing:
- Own the full revenue picture—new business, renewals, and team performance
- Lead and develop a growing sales team of 7, currently targeted at £200k new ARR/month
- Sell alongside your team—no individual quota, but full accountability
- Focus heavily on Mid-Market growth and driving higher-value deals
- Use data to track performance, conversion, and pipeline strength (HubSpot)
- Collaborate with marketing to maximise inbound lead flow
- Contribute to company growth planning and sales process refinement
- Sales leadership experience in SaaS, HR Tech, or a multi-element solution environment
- Experience selling across SME/Mid-Market/Enterprise tiers with fast and varied sales cycles
- Strong reporting discipline—KPI tracking, conversion ratios, accurate forecasting
- Skilled in inside sales—everything is sold from the office (no field sales)
- Exposure to sectors like social care, education, or facilities management is a bonus
- Able to commute to the Epworth office 5 days a week
