Customer Onboarding Manager - SaaS
Epworth (DN9) – Office Based, 5 Days/Week
£35,000–40,000 Base + High-Growth SaaS Scale-Up

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organised SaaS Customer Onboarding Manager to join a fast-scaling HR/Workforce SaaS business that’s redefining how organisations manage their people. With demand growing and the existing project team nearing capacity, we’re adding a dedicated onboarding specialist to ensure every customer journey gets off to the strongest possible start.

You’ll take ownership of the customer experience from the moment a deal is closed—guiding clients through setup, configuration, data migration, user training, and rollout. With a structured 8–12 week onboarding programme already in place, you’ll be trained on the tools and processes needed to manage multiple implementations with confidence.

If you’re proactive, personable, and thrive in a fast-moving environment, this is a brilliant opportunity to shape success for customers while growing your own career in a business that’s going places.

What you’ll do:
  • Own the onboarding process for new clients from sale to go-live (8–12 weeks)
  • Guide customers through account setup, configuration, data migration, testing, and training
  • Maintain strong, structured communication throughout the onboarding journey
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Account Managers, and the Helpdesk Team to ensure a smooth handover and positive customer experience
  • Manage onboarding for up to 40–45 clients at peak capacity, using established processes and tools
  • Spot and address risks, manage expectations, and keep onboarding on track
  • Support continuous improvement of onboarding content, templates, and workflows
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in onboarding, implementation, or project coordination—ideally in SaaS based, Payroll, HR, or Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and client-facing
  • A structured, proactive approach to juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills and general confidence with data and software
  • Empathy, curiosity, and a desire to deliver real value to customers
Why this role?

You’ll be joining a high-performing, people-first business during a period of rapid growth. There’s structure, support, and plenty of opportunity to make an impact—not just in your role, but in how the business evolves its customer experience.

Perks & Benefits:
  • £35–40k base salary
  • 9–5 working day (4pm finish on Fridays)
  • Office-based in a fantastic working environment
  • Free breakfast and lunch from an on-site chef
  • Gym, table tennis, breakout space, and snacks
  • 25 days holiday + birthday off + Christmas shutdown
  • Bupa healthcare, enhanced pension, MacBook
  • Employee share scheme on the roadmap
