Account Director – Channel Marketing | B2B Technology
Hybrid – Reading (3 days per week in-office, Tuesday & Thursday mandatory)
Salary: £75–80k + 10% bonus (competitive and negotiable)
Certus is partnering with a well-established B2B demand generation agency to appoint an Account Director (Channel Marketing) to lead strategy across complex, partner-led technology programmes.
The business works with global technology brands and specialises in pipeline creation through integrated, data-led marketing. Having evolved from a traditional demand model into a full go-to-market agency, they are coming off their strongest year to date, driven by sharper role definition, stronger commercial focus, and a clearly differentiated proposition.
This is a senior, strategy-led role for a true channel specialist from an agency background. The Account Director will own the strategic foundation of channel-led engagements, shaping go-to-market direction across partner ecosystems while ensuring strategies translate into measurable pipeline and revenue impact.

The role
- Own end-to-end channel marketing strategy across partner-led GTM programmes
- Define routes-to-market across resellers, MSPs, distributors, alliances, and technology partners
- Translate partner models into clear, executable demand and pipeline strategies
- Partner with Sales during pitches and proposal development to shape channel-led approaches
- Work closely with Data & Insights teams to define partner segmentation, targeting, and prioritisation
- Hand execution to Client Services and Creative teams while retaining strategic accountability
- Re-engage throughout live campaigns to optimise performance and course-correct
- Identify opportunities to expand channel programmes and contribute to service-line revenue targets
- Strong agency background is essential
- Deep, hands-on channel marketing specialism within B2B technology or SaaS
- Proven experience defining partner-led GTM and demand strategies
- Highly analytical and commercially minded, with a focus on pipeline outcomes
- Comfortable collaborating across Sales, Data, Client Services, and Creative teams
- Proactive, visible, and confident operating in a high-performance agency environment
