An award-winning financial technology firm is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive growth across institutional investors in EMEA and the United States.
Our client is a well-established fintech company specialising in quantitative and qualitative investment due diligence software for alternative assets, helping asset managers identify and monitor hedge funds, private equity and other investment strategies for portfolio construction and reporting. The firm works with some of the world’s largest financial institutions and has over two decades of innovation in the alternative investment analytics space.
This role is based in London and offers a unique opportunity to sell a highly regarded analytics platform to senior decision-makers across the global investment community.
The Role
This is a true “hunter” position focused on winning new business across institutional investors. The successful candidate will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to contract negotiation and handover to client success.
You will engage directly with asset managers, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, endowments and investment consultants, building relationships with analysts, portfolio managers, COOs and CIOs.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new business opportunities across institutional investors
- Leveraging an existing network within the investment management and hedge fund community
- Managing the full sales lifecycle: outreach, meetings, demos, trials, negotiation and close
- Delivering product demonstrations alongside product specialists
- Partnering with marketing to generate and nurture new leads
- Working closely with the Head of Sales to execute strategic sales initiatives
- Consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
The Candidate
We are looking for a proven institutional sales professional with strong relationships across the investment industry.
You will have:
- Significant experience selling financial software, data or analytics solutions into institutional investors
- An established network across asset managers, hedge funds, pension funds, family offices and investment consultants
- A strong track record of generating >$800k in annual new revenue
- Deep understanding of the investment manager selection process
- Knowledge of hedge funds, private equity and portfolio analytics (volatility, correlation, beta, VaR, modern portfolio theory)
- Experience managing multiple institutional client relationships simultaneously
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- A highly entrepreneurial hunter mentality
