Our client, a well-established UK Managed Service Provider, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of customers (40-50) and drive both retention and revenue growth.
This is a customer-facing role, primarily hybrid and online, with some on-site meetings across the UK. It’s suited to someone who understands the MSP world and knows how to translate technical capability into commercial opportunity.
The Opportunity
You’ll sit at the centre of your accounts, understand their IT landscape, anticipate needs and identify growth opportunities. You’ll make sure service delivery aligns with expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Building long-term, trusted relationships
- Driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Managing renewals and proactively tracking contract timelines
- Holding remote and on-site client meetings across the UK
- Internally communicating customer requirements clearly
- Coordinating with technical and delivery teams to ensure consistent service
- Supporting bid management, proposals and presentations when required
- Logging opportunities and generating quotes via internal systems
- Attending sales meetings to review pipeline and performance
What They’re Looking For
Essential:
- 2+ years’ experience within a Managed Service Provider
- Strong understanding of MSP technologies
- Practical knowledge of ITIL
- Comfortable presenting to stakeholders at all levels
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication
- Is commercially aware and spots opportunity naturally
- Has a pragmatic approach to solving problems
- Is organised and able to prioritise effectively
- Thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment
- Sees things through to resolution
- Works well independently but values team collaboration
