Certus Recruitment Group is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing financial infrastructure business operating across institutional crypto and fintech. They’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager whose job is to understand how institutions buy, where demand is forming, and why partnerships succeed or stall.

There is no quota and no expectation to close deals. This role exists to generate signal, not volume.

The role, in plain terms

This person will sit close to product and growth, building early relationships with institutional players and turning real conversations into usable market insight.

You’ll spend time:
  • Mapping institutions exploring crypto execution or infrastructure
  • Speaking with product, strategy, and infrastructure stakeholders
  • Tracking how buying decisions are made (build vs buy, vendor selection, internal blockers)
  • Feeding structured insight back into leadership and product teams
Success is measured by:
  • Quality of conversations and relationships
  • Strength and clarity of market insight generated
  • How well leadership and product decisions are informed by your work
Not by pipeline, targets, or closes.

This role will suit someone who:
  • Is naturally curious about how markets, partnerships, and buying decisions work
  • Is comfortable starting conversations without a pitch deck or script
  • Enjoys ambiguity and asking thoughtful, probing questions
  • Can turn messy conversations into clear, useful insight
  • Has 1–3 years’ experience in partnerships, strategy, research, consulting, or business development
Nice to have, not required
  • Exposure to fintech, crypto infrastructure, trading, or capital markets
  • Early-stage startup experience
  • Interest in institutional crypto or financial infrastructure
