Content Marketing Manager
Reading (Hybrid) | £40-50k Salary + Benefits

A growing technology and digital transformation consultancy is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to lead the creation of compelling, insight-driven content that brings complex technology solutions to life for B2B audiences.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic storyteller and hands-on content creator who enjoys translating technical concepts into engaging, high-value content that supports the entire buyer journey.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end content lifecycle, from concept development and subject-matter expert interviews through to writing, commissioning, publishing and performance optimisation.
Working closely with marketing, product and sales teams, you’ll develop content that supports brand positioning, thought leadership and demand generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute a content strategy aligned to marketing campaigns and business goals
  • Manage a content calendar supporting campaigns, product launches and strategic initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for thought leadership and storytelling to strengthen brand positioning
Content Creation & Storytelling
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content
  • Produce content across multiple formats including:
    • whitepapers
    • reports and solution briefs
    • blogs and website content
    • email campaigns and landing pages
    • presentations and video scripts
  • Conduct interviews with subject-matter experts to develop insight-led content
  • Adapt messaging and tone for different audiences and channels
Content Lifecycle Management
  • Manage the end-to-end development of content assets
  • Coordinate external writers, designers and agencies
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment with messaging frameworks
  • Ensure content is SEO-optimised and stakeholder approved
Performance & Optimisation
  • Track and analyse content performance and engagement metrics
  • Refine messaging based on campaign performance and audience insights
  • Support campaigns, demand generation and account-based marketing initiatives
What We’re Looking For

Essential
  • Proven content marketing experience in a B2B technology environment
  • Ability to translate technical products into compelling marketing content
  • Strong storytelling and writing skills for technical audiences
  • Understanding of the B2B buyer journey and content funnel
  • Experience creating multi-format content across digital channels
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience managing agencies, freelancers and designers
Desirable
  • Knowledge of AI technologies, cloud platforms or enterprise software
  • Experience working in ABM or complex B2B sales environments
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
  • Experience with CMS, marketing automation or analytics tools
