This year Certus recruitment turns 25!

That’s 25 years of conversations, careers shaped, markets evolved, and lessons learned the hard way. In an industry that changes as fast as recruitment does, longevity isn’t something taken lightly, it’s something that’s earned.

Certus Recruitment was founded with a simple belief: that recruitment works best when it’s built on trust, expertise, and long-term relationships. No shortcuts. No volume for volume’s sake. That belief has remained the foundation, even as the world around us has changed so dramatically.

Over the last two and a half decades, we’ve seen entire sectors emerge, mature, and reinvent themselves. We’ve worked through multiple economic cycles, shifts in hiring philosophy, and the growing complexity of global talent markets. Through it all, our focus has remained the same: understanding what “good” really looks like for our clients, and what meaningful progression looks like for the people we represent.

What we’re most proud of are the partnerships we’ve built. Many of our client relationships span years, not transactions. Many of our candidates have returned to us throughout their careers, often as clients on the other side of the hiring table. That continuity matters to us.

Reaching 25 years is also a moment to recognise the people behind Certus. Past and present consultants who’ve helped shape the business. Clients who trusted us with critical hires. Candidates who placed their careers in our hands. Certus Recruitment has always been, and will always be, a people business.

As we look ahead, our ambition isn’t simply to keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s to keep evolving without losing what makes us Certus. Staying curious. Going deeper. Slowing down where it counts. Continuing to grow in the right way, not the fastest.
