Our client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant (Administrator) to strengthen their internal Salesforce capability and support the ongoing enhancement of their Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud platform.

This role will focus on translating business requirements into practical Salesforce configuration outcomes, supporting platform administration, managing releases, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to translate approved requirements, process changes, and user stories into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Configure Salesforce using no-code and low-code tools, including forms, assessments, flows, validation rules, page layouts, record pages, list views, and other declarative features.
  • Manage day-to-day Salesforce administration, including user support, issue investigation, defect resolution, data quality support, and system maintenance.
  • Support deployment and release management activities, including configuration promotion, pre-release checks, testing, and post-release validation.
  • Act as an internal Salesforce capability resource, reducing reliance on external implementation partners for BAU changes and enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system usability, data quality, reporting, and business processes.
  • Maintain documentation, training materials, support procedures, and knowledge transfer resources.
  • Support reporting and dashboard development to enable operational insights and informed decision-making.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce and its capabilities, with a focus on no-code and low-code configuration, administration, user support, and declarative solution design.
  • 3-5 years' experience working with Salesforce in a functional consulting, administration, or development-focused role, ideally within a Nonprofit Cloud environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation, translating business needs into clear, testable functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
  • Hands-on experience with the Discovery Framework, including configuring and supporting assessments and related declarative functionality.
  • Hands-on experience with Document Generation, including building and maintaining letters, templates, and related outputs within Salesforce.
  • Experience deploying configuration changes across multiple environments and supporting release activities.
  • Relevant Salesforce certification is desirable.
  • Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or the community services/not-for-profit sector is desirable.

Key Requirements:
  • Strong Salesforce Configuration and Solution Design capability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams.
  • Experience in Release Management and Deployment Practices.

Work Arrangement:

  • 100% onsite during the first 6 months (probation period).
  • Hybrid arrangement negotiable after probation (maximum 2 days working from home).

About the Organisation:

  • Approximately 400 staff.
  • IT team of approximately 14 staff across BAU, IT Support, and Projects.
  • Reporting to the Project Manager - Digital Transformation.
  • This role has been created due to expansion.

Interview Process:

  • 15-minute screening call (phone or video).
  • Take-home assignment for shortlisted candidates.
  • 1-hour panel interview to present the assignment.
  • 30-45 minute technical assessment.

Additional Information:
  • No visa sponsorship or 482 visa transfers available.
  • Candidates from interstate will be considered if willing to relocate to Adelaide.
  • Our client will not provide relocation sponsorship.
  • Candidate screening is expected to commence next week.

If you are a Salesforce professional looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through platform optimisation, configuration, and digital transformation, we would love to hear from you.
