Scoresby (South East of Melbourne)
$145,000 base + super MAX salary (non-negotiable)
5 days per week in the office (non-negotiable)
Our Client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver multiple communications/ICT projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
This is a fully office-based role in Scoresby, 5 days per week. Due to the in-office requirement, we will only consider candidates who live within 45 minutes of Scoresby. We are NOT considering applicants with 1–2 hour commute times.
Applicants must have full, unrestricted work rights in Australia. Overseas candidates or those requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered.
About the Role
You will manage multiple concurrent projects, working closely with engineers, administrators, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful delivery. The role requires strong commercial acumen, structured project governance, and the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
You will lead project initiation, scheduling, financial management, risk tracking, change management, and reporting while ensuring high-quality documentation and strong client engagement.

You will lead project initiation, scheduling, financial management, risk tracking, change management, and reporting while ensuring high-quality documentation and strong client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end project management including finance, scheduling, resourcing, and client satisfaction
- Stakeholder management across internal and external teams
- Managing subcontractors and delivery partners
- Maintaining risk, issue, action, and dependency registers
- Coordinating project variations and change control
- Financial oversight and reporting on key project metrics
- Supporting other project managers where required
- 5+ years’ experience in project management roles
- Strong experience delivering projects in communications/ICT environments
- Experience in project management experience from start to finish
- Excellent planning, coordination, and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of the Project Management Lifecycle
- High attention to documentation quality
- Proven ability to manage projects autonomously
- Strong commercial acumen and accountability
- Adaptability and outcomes-focused mindset
- Degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years’ experience delivering projects in technical/software environments
- Understanding of software development methodologies
- Experience with DMR, Tetra, P25 or two-way radio deployments
- Formal Project Management certifications
