Our client, a leader in advanced analytics and AI-driven decision-making is seeking a Data Scientist to take a lead role in building and deploying mission-critical solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work with mission-critical data, leverage powerful AI tools, and drive innovation in enterprise and government applications.
  
Data Scientist responsibilities:  
  • Extend an existing AI platform into an Agentic framework using state-of-the-art GenAI methods
  • Take ownership of AI/ML solutions from ideation to deployment—working closely with customer teams and real-world data
  • Leverage modern big data frameworks (like Databricks) and GenAI libraries to build scalable, production-ready systems
  • Contribute to internal R&D, platform evolution, and technical best practice
  • Travel as needed to client sites and secure locations
Data Scientist requirements:  
  • Active security clearance (preferred)
  • 3+ years in Data Science or ML Engineering, with strong Python skills and experience deploying models in production
  • Hands-on with PyTorch or TensorFlow, plus classical ML techniques (regression, classification, clustering, etc.)
  • Experience with LLMs and GenAI tools (e.g. LangChain, Milvus, PGVector, FAISS, Elasticsearch)
  • Strong grasp of deep learning and NLP methods (Transformers, RAG, summarization, etc.)
  • Eligible for US Security Clearance (active clearance a major plus)
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present technical ideas clearly and concisely
  • Experience with fine-tuning LLMs and building RAG pipelines
  • Previous work in defense, intelligence, or highly regulated sectors
  • Familiarity with knowledge graphs and advanced multi-agent systems
