Account Manager – Expansion (SaaS)
NYC (hybrid)
$108k Base | $180k OTE

A high-growth SaaS business is entering its next phase and looking to hire an Account Manager to take full commercial ownership of an existing customer base and drive meaningful revenue expansion.

This is not a renewals role. It’s a quota-carrying, expansion-focused position for someone who knows how to build pipeline, spot opportunity, and close.

If you’re comfortable operating without perfect structure and enjoy building as much as selling, this is a strong fit.

The Role

You’ll own and grow revenue across a defined set of accounts, with a clear focus on expansion.
  • Drive net revenue growth through upsell and cross-sell activity
  • Build and manage a consistent outbound expansion pipeline
  • Take full commercial ownership of accounts (not just renewals)
  • Partner with Customer Success while maintaining a strong sales mindset
  • Operate with autonomy in a scale-up environment
  • Work towards a ~$1m annual quota
What They’re Looking For
  • SaaS Account Management experience with a clear focus on expansion
  • Proven track record of upsell, cross-sell, and revenue growth
  • Experience generating outbound pipeline within existing accounts
  • Background in startup or scale-up environments
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Comfortable discussing quota, deal sizes, and wins
Strong preference for:
  • Financial Services exposure (wealth, PE, VC, asset management)
  • Experience closing mid to low six-figure deals
  • Background in FS-adjacent SaaS businesses
