The Role
You'll manage a varied caseload from instruction through to resolution, working closely with clients during some of life's most challenging transitions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex family law matters from start to finish
- Handling divorce, child custody, relocation and other contested family law disputes
- Developing litigation strategies and preparing pleadings, motions and legal memoranda
- Conducting discovery, including depositions
- Representing clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations and trials
- Building trusted client relationships while collaborating with an experienced legal team
To be considered, you'll have:
- Active Washington State Bar admission
- 2+ years' Washington family law litigation experience
- Strong courtroom advocacy and litigation skills
- Excellent legal writing, research and case management abilities
- Outstanding communication and client relationship skills
- A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to continue developing your career
