Forward Deployed Engineer &ndash; Palantir Foundry Salary: $75,000&ndash;$165,000 depending on experience Certus Recruitment is partnering with a technology organization looking for a Mid-Level Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to help develop and deliver capabilities supporting the US Army. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work with Palantir Foundry, building analytical applications and dashboards, supporting CI/CD pipelines and helping turn complex data into production-ready capabilities. Working alongside senior engineers and government stakeholders, you'll operate in two-week sprint cycles and contribute throughout the development lifecycle &ndash; from design and build through testing and deployment. What you'll be doing: &bull; Building analytical dashboards using Foundry Workshop/Slate &bull; Supporting Foundry pipelines and CI/CD configuration &bull; Developing metric definitions and data transformations aligned with the Foundry Ontology &bull; Writing and maintaining production-quality code &bull; Testing and validating dashboards and underlying data &bull; Supporting build scripts, automated testing and environment promotion &bull; Identifying integration issues and resolving technical blockers &bull; Producing technical documentation, configuration notes and runbooks &bull; Participating in sprint planning, reviews and demonstrations with government stakeholders &bull; Supporting defect resolution and ongoing platform enhancements What we're looking for: &bull; 1&ndash;3+ years' software engineering experience &bull; Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry highly desirable &bull; Exposure to Foundry pipelines, Workshop/Slate and Ontology &bull; Experience with Python, TypeScript and/or Java &bull; Ability to independently build, test and deliver production-ready features &bull; Comfortable working within agile engineering teams &bull; Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience working within government, defense or classified environments would be particularly valuable.
